French doors and large picture windows create the front of the cottage with the living/dining room keeping the ocean constantly in close-up view. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, as does the front guestroom, both with the same unforgettable ocean view. The third bedroom, furnished with two twin beds, is a quiet retreat at the back of the cottage.

The open-to-the-ocean-view kitchen is at the center of this charming cottage, allowing the entire family to spend time together easily. The stainless-steel countertop, checkerboard floor and glass-front cabinets are reminiscent of vintage cottage decor. The upgraded appliances and granite-topped peninsula make it a cook's dream. This well-equipped kitchen has a Wolf range, KitchenAid fridge and dishwasher as well as the basics needed in any good kitchen.

Both the master bathroom and the guest bathroom have generous tile counters, full tubs with showers and lots of fluffy towels. The sizeable windows in the baths provide plenty of fresh air and natural light. Ceiling fans work with the trade-winds to keep the house at a comfortable, feels-like-silk temperature. We've tried to think of everything to help you feel at home, from stacks of beach towels to convenient bedside reading lights in each bedroom. Tucked away in a quiet Hawaiian neighborhood setting, you'll be a short stroll on the new Seaside Walking/Biking Path to quaint Kapa'a Town with its wide choice of restaurants and boutique shopping (you'll find our recommendations on the Kapa'a page). Less than 30 steps across the lawn, one lane road and Biking Path, is the ocean. Three houses to the north is the soft sand and warm waters of "Baby Beach," one of the safest swimming beaches on the island for small children.
