CORONAVIRUS UPDATE:

We are so happy to report that Kauai has recently reduced the 14 day quarantine restriction to only 3 days!! for all incoming visitors and residents. A pre-travel test is also required. Quarantine must be done in one of several designated resort/hotels. This is a big step in the right direction and we hope all visitors and residents will continue to help make Kauai one of the safest places on the planet!

As with many parts of the U.S. our Kauai travel restrictions are changing as CoVid-19 realities change. You'll find the most up-to-date info on the official KauaiCoVid-19 webpage. Pre-arrival testing, wearing a mask, social distancing and restricting gathering size covers the basics. It's Aloha!

SPECIAL COVID-19 RATES FOR EXTENDED STAYS

If you are working from home and are able to do that away from your normal environment we invite you to consider Kauai. You will be subject to the 14-day quarantine, as mentioned above, but then you can move about freely. Even at that, Sunrise Cottage is a lovely place to be "stuck!" Rent one or both of our cottages and bring your family. We are offering special rates on new bookings until April 1, 2021:

2 week stay: 10% discount 

3 week stay: 20% discount

4 or more weeks: 25% discount

Please respect this requirement or we will reluctantly have to retain your security deposit.
We also ask everyone to respect the honored Hawaiian tradition of always REMOVING SHOES while in the house.

DISCLAIMER

We make every effort to ensure that all equipment is in working order and that the surrounding environment is as pleasing as possible. In the event of an equipment breakdown, we will strive to repair or replace it as soon as possible after being notified of a problem. We cannot guarantee that televisions, appliances, etc. will not break down during your stay (especially with the unrelenting salt air) and therefore, no refunds or adjustments can be made for mechanical failure. We cannot take responsibility for any other unexpected situations beyond our control such as power outages, insects, weather, nearby construction and the like. Thank you for your understanding.

ALOHA COTTAGES STANDARD RATES

We request a one week minimum stay in either cottage, 2 weeks over the December holidays. Additional days are prorated at the weekly rate. An extended discount stay of 10% is offered for reservations of 4 or more weeks. See CoVid-19 Special above.

Sunrise & Moonrise Together Make Your Own Private Oasis

Rent: $4600 per week (save $100),

Deposit: A deposit of $900 per week is required to confirm your reservation. The full rental fee is due 90 days before arrival. The deposit is returned to you after your stay, minus the cleaning fee.

Cleaning Fee: $750 We have adopted special cleaning and sanitizing practices to help keep our visitors safe due to COVID-19. This has increased our expenses with special products and increased cleaning time.

Sunrise Cottage,

Rent: $3500 per week, accommodating up to 6 people (including children)

Deposit: $600 per week

Cleaning Fee: $500 Stays of 2 or more weeks are offered a complimentary interim cleaning, scheduled at your convenience.

Moonrise Cottage,

Rent: $1200 per week, accommodating 1-2 people (including children)

Deposit: $300 per week

Cleaning Fee: $250 Stays of 2 or more weeks are offered a complimentary interim cleaning, scheduled at your convenience.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In these uncertain Coronavirus times we have modified our policy to allow for constantly changing "rules" and situations. If you make a reservation that for unforeseen circumstances due to the pandemic cannot happen, i.e. no flights to Kauai, extended quarantine dates, etc, you can rebook for future dates, without financial penalty. If you need to cancel for personal reasons our standard policy will be in effect: A security deposit is required to make reservations of which 50% is refundable if your reservations are cancelled at least 120 days before your arrival date. If we are able to rebook your dates we return your full deposit, minus $50 cancellation fee. Full payment is due 90 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable unless we can rebook the property. (We would make every effort to do so.) Your security deposit will be returned to you, minus your outcleaning fee, within 30 days of your stay.
